Fantastic meal and drinks
We visited the Crown for the first time on Saturday afternoon for lunch with our 5 year old daughter. There was clearly a lot of effort and love put into each dish we ordered, and the majority was home made. Even the bread was all home made, and our meal came out with complimentary breads, oil and olives which was a really kind touch. Annoyed to hear a table at the same time complain the food was cold- I can assure the chef and staff that day that this was not the case for us and everything was just perfect. We will definitely be returning regularly!
Best roast in Dorset - consistently fantastic at every visit since last discovering the gem last year. Took over 20 friends for a meal and everyone loved it. Food fabulous, service great, friendly and welcoming. Any where else for a roast is disappointing after the crown. Booking recommended!
Love It Here
I’ve been here a few times, both with my boyfriend and my family, and we love it. The food is always delicious and the people are friendly. It doesn’t look much from the outside but I would definitely recommend eating here at least once in your life! Lunch or dinner, the standard of food is always extremely high

Excellent service and food
Myself and my colleague visited on Wednesday 4th April. The food was so good I would highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Service was exceptional which made our visit one of the best places I've been to in a long time. Well done to Sean, Patrick and the rest of the team!!! 5 star guys!!!
